Let's Graduate!

It’s been a wild end to the year, but seeing our 5th graders working hard and never giving up here at the end of the term gives us all the more reason to celebrate their accomplishments!

Please make plans to join us for a

DRIVE-IN GRADUATION CEREMONY!

WHEN: Thursday, March 21 @ 9:30 AM

WHERE: DtA Playground Parking Lot

Here’s how it’s going to work…

  • Arrive by 9:15 to pick up sanitized caps and gowns (wearing the cap/gown will be optional)

  • ONE vehicle per Graduate will have an assigned parking space in the upper lot (one parking space between each vehicle)

  • Graduates will be announced one by one to walk down to the front to accept their diplomas and awards

  • Graduates and family members will remain in their vehicle until their name is called

  • Family members will be able to get out of their vehicles and walk down to a designated “photo” area

  • Safety is KEY! Remain in your vehicles and help keep people safe by keeping a minimum 6 feet of distance between everyone. Additionally, gloves and masks are recommended (except for pictures)

***IMPORTANT***

ARRIVE ON TIME. We will begin promptly at 9:30. You will not be allowed to drive up into your parking space after the ceremony has begun.

STAY THE WHOLE TIME. It won’t take long. The ceremony is for the 5th grade only, so please plan to stay and help celebrate all the graduates from Downtown Academy’s 3rd Graduating Class.

It’s going to be great! Keep up the hard work and making sure to turn in all required assignments so your 5th grader can participate in this fun and unique event!
